Frequently Asked
Questions
If you have questions before booking or visiting, you can refer to these common answers to understand the general process and important notes. Final fees and treatment options still require a dentist's assessment.
Appointments and Visits
1. How do I make an appointment?
You can contact the clinic through WhatsApp or phone. Please share your main dental concern, preferred date and time, and contact details. The clinic will help arrange a suitable appointment time.
2. What if I am not sure which service to book?
You do not need to know the exact service name. Simply describe your symptoms, such as toothache, bleeding gums, sensitivity, wisdom tooth discomfort, cleaning needs or aesthetic concerns. We can help suggest a suitable consultation direction.
3. Can I consult first without starting treatment immediately?
Yes. Many patients prefer to come in for assessment and consultation first. The dentist will explain the possible causes, options and fee direction, so you can decide after understanding the details.
4. How much time should I reserve for my first visit?
A first visit may involve registration, discussion of your dental history and a full oral assessment. Please reserve enough time. If you decide to proceed with a simple treatment on the same day, it may take longer.
Fees and Treatment Plans
5. Can I confirm the exact fee online?
Not accurately. Dental fees depend on the actual condition, treatment scope, materials and complexity. A precise quotation requires an in-clinic assessment by the dentist.
6. Will the fee and plan be explained before treatment?
Yes. After assessment, the dentist will explain the dental issue, treatment direction, fee details, appointment timeline and aftercare notes before treatment begins.
7. If there are multiple treatment options, can I compare before deciding?
Yes. If several options are suitable, the dentist will explain the purpose, procedure, fee range, timeline, advantages and limitations of each option so you can choose based on your needs and budget.
8. Why can the fee differ even for the same toothache?
Toothache can come from cavities, gum inflammation, cracks, infection, wisdom teeth, bite issues or trauma. Different causes require different treatments and therefore different fees.
Common Services
9. Do I need a dental check-up?
If you are unsure where discomfort comes from, have not had a check-up for a long time, or have pain, bleeding gums, sensitivity or old fillings that feel loose, a dental check-up is recommended.
10. When are scaling and polishing suitable?
Scaling removes tartar and plaque that daily brushing cannot remove. Polishing helps clean surface stains. The dentist will advise whether it is suitable and how often you may need it after assessment.
11. When is restorative treatment suitable?
Restorative treatment is often used for cavities or small tooth defects. However, not every damaged tooth can be restored with filling alone; the dentist must check the tooth and root condition first.
12. When might root canal treatment be needed?
Root canal treatment may be needed for persistent toothache, deep decay, damaged nerves or suspected pulp infection. Whether it is needed depends on the dentist's assessment.
13. Does wisdom tooth pain always mean extraction?
Not always. If wisdom teeth hurt, swell repeatedly or make mouth opening difficult, the dentist may check the position and inflammation level before advising whether to keep or remove it.
14. Is teeth whitening suitable for everyone?
No. Whitening suitability depends on tooth and gum health, sensitivity and whether there are existing fillings or crowns. The dentist will assess before confirming.
15. Can adults enquire about orthodontics?
Yes. Adults can consult about orthodontics. A full assessment of tooth alignment, bite, gum health and goals is needed before a treatment plan can be made.
Dental Anxiety and Family Visits
16. Can I bring my child for dental care?
Yes. Please share your child's age, dental concern and whether this is their first dental visit when booking, so the clinic can adjust the communication and appointment flow.
17. Can a family member accompany me?
In most cases, yes. Family support can be helpful for children, seniors or patients with mobility needs. Please let the clinic know during booking.
Opening Hours and Walk-in
18. What are the clinic opening hours?
Normal opening hours are 9:30AM to 6:00PM daily. The doctor break is from 1:00PM to 2:00PM. Public holiday hours may change, so please confirm through WhatsApp before visiting.
19. Can I walk in without an appointment?
Walk-ins are accepted, but appointments are strongly recommended. Booking ahead helps the clinic understand your concern, reduce waiting time and avoid fully booked sessions.
